I
met Donald G. Britt back in December of 1982. He was a patient
in the hospital I was working at. He was MY patient. I took
good care of him. In January of 1983 he was still in the
hospital for a major infection and needed to be on longterm
antibiotic therapy. He would be hospitalized for a total of 3
+ months. Of course during this time, we became great friends!
We actually started dating on January 24, 1983 and became
engaged that spring. We were married in February 2, 1985. I
love him dearly.
We
have had many many great years together. As like everyone else
we have had trials and tribulations, but we have survived
together and it has actually made us strong and the couple we
are today.
For
our 23rd Wedding Anniversary, I gave my husband the gift
below. He wanted to be able to share it with others. He is
very proud of his wife as I am so proud and thankful I have
him.
